Under the auspices of
Professor Dr. El-Saeed Abdel-Hadi, President of Horus University,
and Professor Dr. Zeinab Ahmed Hussein, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Therapy, Horus University,
and as part of the faculty’s ongoing efforts to develop the scientific and practical skills of its students and staff,
the Continuing Education Unit at the Faculty of Physical Therapy organized a distinguished training workshop today, May 20, 2025, entitled:
“Practical Application of Modern Assessment and Measurement Devices in Physical Therapy.”
The workshop utilized the latest international devices:
Iso Kinetic Dynamometer Quick Set Biodex
Cardiovit 200 Office – Schiller AG.
The workshop and practical training were presented by Dr. Aya Khalil, Head of the Biomechanics Department and Director of the Research Center at the Faculty.
She provided a comprehensive explanation and high-level practical training on the operation of these devices and their use in assessment and treatment.
This workshop is part of a series of scientific activities that the Faculty is keen to implement to bridge the gap between academic theory and practical application, thus contributing to the development of distinguished professionals capable of keeping pace with modern advancements in the field of physical therapy.
