A specialized workshop titled: ‘Visceral Osteopathy

An outstanding workshop at the Faculty of Physical Therapy – Horus University under the patronage of: Professor Dr. Saeed Abdel Hadi – President of Horus University Professor Dr. Zainab Ahmed Hussein – Dean of the Faculty of Physical Therapy – Horus University Professor Dr. Ashraf Ramadan – Acting Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs In the framework of the Faculty of Physical Therapy – Horus University’s commitment to enriching scientific knowledge and providing its students and graduates with the latest global developments in the field of physical therapy, the Alumni Follow-up Committee, headed by Dr. Iman Rashad, organized a specialized workshop titled: 🔹 “Visceral Osteopathy” The workshop was presented by Dr. Marwa El-Sayed, Osteopathy Specialist – Ontario, Canada, holder of a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy – Cairo University. The workshop, held over June 29 and 30, 2025, covered the following topics:
✅ Introduction to Visceral Osteopathy and its importance in physical therapy fields.
✅ Practical applications and manual techniques for treating internal organs and their impact on the different functions of the body.
✅ Review of the latest research and scientific studies related to osteopathy.
✅ Practical training for attendees on some evaluation techniques and manual therapy related to internal organs.
The workshop witnessed a remarkable attendance from faculty members, the assisting staff, and a large number of college students and graduates, who showed great interaction and praised the scientific material presented and Dr. Marwa El-Sayed’s distinguished method in explanation and practical application.
At the conclusion of the workshop activities, Dr. Marwa El-Sayed was honored in the presence of the Dean and Vice Dean of the college, in recognition of her scientific contribution and efforts in transferring expertise and knowledge to the participants. The Faculty of Physical Therapy extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to Dr. Marwa El-Sayed, wishing her continued success and more achievements in her scientific and professional career.
