Participation of the Faculty of Physical Therapy in the ‘No Disability’ Conference – December 5 and 6
The Faculty of Physical Therapy at Horus University participated in the “No Disability” conference, chaired by Professor Dr. Alaa Bilba’a, Chairman of the Physical Therapy Sector Committee at the Supreme Council of Universities and former Dean of the Faculty of Physical Therapy at Cairo University.
Professor Dr. Zainab Ahmed Hussein, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Therapy, delivered a lecture titled:
“Approaches for Improving Motor Functions in Pediatric Physical Therapy Between Trends and Evidence”
Additionally, a student research paper titled:
**Gait and Postural Balance Characteristics in Postmenopausal Women with Osteoporosis: A Narrative Review**
was presented. The research was published in the conference proceedings and was presented virtually by student Mohamed Yousry.
The students participating in the research (Fifth Year) are:

– Soheila Salah Abdel-Wadoud
– Nour Senoosi Abdelsalam
– Basmalah Mahmoud Shaaban
– Youssef El-Sayed El-Gadawy
The research and presentation were prepared under the supervision of Dr. Amira Asy, Lecturer at the Faculty of Physical Therapy, Horus University.
Several students from the Faculty of Physical Therapy also attended the conference activities to enhance their scientific and cognitive skills and to learn about the latest trends in rehabilitation and physical therapy. This participation serves as a supportive step to enhance their practical experiences and connect academic knowledge with practical application, contributing to the preparation of a distinguished generation of physical therapy specialist
