The mission of the Department of Physical Therapy for Orthopedic Surgery at the Faculty of Physical Therapy, Horus University, Egypt, is to qualify a graduate capable of applying the latest therapeutic methods and techniques in the field of orthopedics, with a focus on early diagnosis and accurate evaluation of different cases. The department aims to train students to provide comprehensive care to patients with bone and joint injuries, using evidence-based scientific techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and advanced methods such as electrical stimulation and cryotherapy. This is done within rehabilitation programs that contribute to restoring patients’ jobs and improving their quality of life, while enhancing teamwork skills and critical thinking.
