Annual Student Conference of the Department of Pediatric Physical Therapy

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Saber, Chairman of the Board of Trustees

And Prof. Dr. Hassan El-Shennawi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees

And Prof. Dr. Al-Saeed Abdul Hadi, President of the University.

And Prof. Dr. Farag Abdel Moneim, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Therapy.

Within the framework of activating student scientific activities.

Held on Wednesday, 14/5/2024

Scientific day for fifth year students in the Department of Pediatrics at the Faculty of Physical Therapy, in coordination with Prof. Dr. Zainab Hussein, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs and Head of the Pediatrics Department at the Faculty, with the participation of students from the universities of the October 6, the Delta, the Modern University for Technology and Information and Kafr El-Sheikh University

I open the day with the speech of Prof. Dr. Magda Nasr Allah Prof. Dr. Farag Abdel Moneim and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Hamed Ghazi, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry

During which they welcomed the attendees and guests, led by:

Prof. Dr. Noha Kamal, Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences

And Prof. Dr. Hatem Al-Samouli, Professor of Neurosurgery

Prof. Dr. Mazen Samir, Professor of Orthopedic Surgery

And Prof. Dr. Amira Hussein, Professor of Physical Therapy, Delta University

Dr. Mohamed Noureddine Lecturer of Pediatrics

Dr. Ayman Al-Batta Director of Physiotherapy Department in Damietta

And Dr. Sarah Abdel Wahab, a teacher of physical therapy at October 6 University.

During the day’s activities, the students presented scientific topics and explained them in detailed ways that varied between (the use of mobile phone applications to evaluate or rehabilitate children with cerebral palsy – the effect of obesity on walking in children – the effect of the CAREN system on improving the balance abilities of children with neurological disorders – VR in the rehabilitation of children – phone addiction and its effect on children – the effect of arm movement on the walking pattern in children – the use of a wearable glove device for children with disabilities

The day was concluded by presenting shields of honor and appreciation to the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Farag Abdel Moneim and Prof. Dr. Walid Abu Al-Naga.

Honorary shields were also presented to the heads of departments in the college in appreciation of them and their efforts in the educational process, in addition to honoring the students contributing to the scientific day
