Within the framework of Egypt interest in education and considering it the first national project to meet the challenges of the third millennium, and in the light of the focus on Accreditation and quality assurance in higher education institutions. And based on the decision of Horus University Council, and in accordance with Article 44 of the Universities Organization Law No. 49 of 1972 approving the establishment of quality assurance units in the university’s colleges. Ans after reviewing the decisions of the Board of Trustees at its fifth session on 12/14/2017, which included the issuance of the internal regulations of Horus University – Egypt, the approval of the first College Council on 11/12/2017, and the issuance of the University President’s Decision No. (75) to construct quality unit committees at Horus University on 2/15/2018. The P.T. Faculty included a quality assurance unit in its organizational structure in 2018. The Quality Assurance Unit has developed an internal bylaw that is commensurate with the nature of education, scientific research, and community service in the College of Physical Therapy, and is consistent with the internal regulations of Horus University, and achieves its desired purpose and is also consistent with the mission of the university and the college.
