Courses
The Department of Biomechanics at the Faculty of Physical Therapy at Horus University offers a comprehensive educational program focusing on gait analysis, kinesiology, regional biomechanics, as well as the study of ergonomics. These courses are meticulously designed to provide students with a deep understanding of the movement of the human body, musculoskeletal mechanics, and the principles of ergonomics. Through a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical application, students learn how to assess and analyze movement patterns, recognize abnormalities, and develop effective treatment plans to improve patient outcomes.
The Gait Analysis Program equips students with the skills to assess and treat gait disorders, which is essential for patients recovering from injuries or surgeries. Kinesiology also provides a basic understanding of muscle function and movement, helping to design effective rehabilitation programs.
