The Continuous Training Committee at the College of Physical Therapy organized an awareness lecture on how to use fire extinguishers, with the aim of raising awareness among faculty members, the assisting body, internship students, and college students on how to deal with fire safely and effectively.
This lecture is part of a series of events aimed at promoting a culture of safety and security on campus, especially in relation to emergency response. The lecture was presented by Dr. Mohamed Farouk, Physiotherapy Teacher at the Department of Women’s Health, and Rapporteur of the Security and Safety Committee and the Disaster and Crisis Management Committee.
Dr. Farouk touched on the theoretical foundations of using extinguishers correctly, as well as the practical applications that were implemented during the lecture, which allowed participants to understand how to deal with fire in different situations. The importance of safety and how to deal with emergency extinguishing tools to ensure the safety of everyone was also highlighted.
