Faculty members, teaching assistants, and students from the college participated as speakers in the 6th edition of the “No Disability” Conference, titled “The 6th International Scientific Conference on Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation.”
As part of activating sustainable education activities and scientific research, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Zainab Hussein, Acting Dean of the College of Physical Therapy, and Dr. Aya Khalil, Coordinator of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research at the college, the following were presented
• Dr. Neveen Al-Agmy, Assistant Lecturer of Internal Medicine at the Faculty, gave a lecture titled: Management of Metabolic Syndrome
• Dr. Aya Khalil, Lecturer of Biomechanics at the Faculty, presented a lecture titled: Self-Report Outcome Measures in Physical Therapy: Usage and Challenges
• Dr. Ahmed Khater, Teaching Assistant in the Biomechanics Department, on behalf of the student group (Amany Ali, Rana Said, Leila Mohamed, Shahd Said, Yara Said), under the supervision of Dr. Amira Assy and Dr. Magda Magdy, presented
research titled: Gait Analysis Characteristics in Individuals with Thoracic Kyphosis: A Narrative Review, which was the result of student activities for the Biomechanics course supervised by Dr. Aya Khalil
• Hazem Osama (Intern student) presented research titled: Low-Level Laser Therapy for Management of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in Patients with Postmastectomy Lymphedema
All participants in the conference were honored with certificates of appreciation and trophies in recognition of their efforts in enriching the conference activities
