Medical Convoy to the General Medical Center in New Damietta: Distinguished Efforts to Serve the Community under the auspices of Horus University

Under the generous patronage of Prof. Dr. Al-Saeed Abdel Hadi, President of Horus University, and under the direct supervision of Prof. Dr. Zainab Ahmed Hussein, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Therapy at the university, and in close cooperation with the Directorate of Health Affairs in Damietta Governorate, the Faculty of Physical Therapy organized on Thursday, March 6, 2025, a distinguished medical convoy to the General Medical Center in New Damietta. This initiative came within the framework of the continuous efforts of Horus University and the Faculty of Physical Therapy to serve the community and provide medical support to areas in need of health care. The convoy included a range of integrated medical services, where many patients were medically examined, their health conditions were accurately assessed, and individual treatment plans were developed to suit the needs of each case. Some cases that require specialized follow-up have also been referred to the outpatient clinic of the College of Physical Therapy, where treatment sessions will be completed under the supervision of a group of faculty members at the college, ensuring that patients receive the highest levels of medical and rehabilitation care.

This medical convoy reflects the commitment of Horus University and the Faculty of Physical Therapy to its societal role, and emphasizes the importance of cooperation between academic institutions and health authorities to improve the quality of medical services provided to citizens. The move is part of a series of initiatives aimed at promoting public health and supporting the community.

In conclusion, Horus University expresses its pride in this achievement, and looks forward to more effective partnerships that contribute to achieving its vision to serve the community and develop the health sector.
