Specialized Workshop titled: Cervical Manual Therapy
Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Zeinab Ahmed Hussein – Dean of the Faculty of Physical Therapy, Professor Dr. Ashraf Ramadan – Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs,
The Continuing Training Unit, chaired by Dr. Azza AlDiasty, organized on Monday, 14/7/2025, a specialized workshop entitled: (Cervical Manual Therapy).
This workshop was specifically directed to the internship students at the Faculty of Physical Therapy, aiming to refine their practical skills and enhance their field experience in dealing with neck and cervical spine problems and pains. The workshop was presented by Dr. Ahmed Atiya – holder of a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Cairo University, and a certified therapist by the Mulligan Concept International, during which he reviewed the latest manual techniques and methods, providing practical and applied explanations for various cases, with notable interaction from the attending students.
At the conclusion of the workshop, Professor Dr. Zeinab Ahmed Hussein honored Dr. Ahmed Atiya and presented him with the college shield in recognition of his scientific efforts and outstanding contributions, in the presence of: Professor Dr. Karim Saafan – Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs Dr. Mohamed Emad – Director of Outpatient Clinics and Workshop Coordinator.
All thanks and appreciation to the Continuing Training Unit and everyone who contributed to the success of this outstanding event, which comes as part of the college’s plan to prepare internship students with the latest scientific and practical skills and techniques.
