The first international conference of the Faculty of Physical Therapy at Horus University was successfully concluded with the distinguished presence of a large number of deans and vice-deans of faculties of physical therapy in Egyptian public, private and private universities, in the presence of nearly 800 participants between graduates and students from various universities. Approximately 36 lecturers attended the conference and the conference was broadcast live to many participants.
Prof. Dr. Ashraf Georgi, Professor of Physical Therapy in the United States of America, gave a lecture broadcast from the United States of America in which he talked about what is new in the field of rehabilitation.
A delegation of faculty members at the Chinese University, headed by Prof. Dr. Sami Abdel Samad, Dean of the Faculty, also lectured on the new in the field of Chinese acupuncture, and some of the conference sessions included distinguished student research sessions under the supervision of faculty members at the faculty.
A group of professors of human medicine, headed by Prof. Dr. Mounir Bahgat, Professor of Internal Medicine, also lectured at the conference on what is new in obesity and Prof. Dr. Hatem Al-Samouli, Professor of Neurosurgery, spoke about complications after spine operations.
